Does the DMC have a collection of 3-d earth models and software to plot them?
Answer
The DMC hosts the Earth Model Collaboration (EMC). The EMC is a repository of contributed Earth models and includes some simple web-based visualization tools.
The DMC has also develped a relatively simple to use desktop 3D visualization package called the IRIS EMC 3D Visualizer.
